Not an April Fool joke

Russia has assumed the presidency of the UN Security Council (each of the council's 15 members takes up the presidency for a month).

The Security Council is now chaired by a country whose leader is subject to an international arrest warrant for war crimes.

The last time Russia held the presidency, February 2022, it invaded Ukraine. Who’s next?

How about George Bush? He killed 750,000 innocent Iraqis.

Are our Russian brothers and sisters having a potato famine?

Why couldn't they just keep drinking enough vodka to stay sleepy and well-behaved?

In terms of represented populations most of the world did not vote to condemn Russia.

That means that a minority voted to condemn Russia.

So Russia's SC presidency is majority-supported.

Ain't democracy grand.

Innocent????? Sadam should not have tried to assassinate George Bush Senior that is an act of war.

In April 1993, former President George Bush visited Kuwait to commemorate the victory over Iraq in the Persian Gulf War. During Bush's visit, Kuwaiti authorities arrested 17 people allegedly involved in a plot to kill Bush using a car bomb.

The United States sent various personnel to Kuwait to investigate the alleged assassination attempt. Based on interviews of the alleged coconspirators, forensic examinations of the explosive devices, and intelligence reports, the United States Government concluded that Iraq was behind the attempted car bombing.

Many sources. British journal Lancet, for one. Now you tell me what information you have that refutes it.

That's what I figured. You do know that the Lancet's article(s) on this have been thoroughly discredited, don't you?

Theater of the Absurd, to say the least.

I'd like to see the entire UN, packup and move to Sweden, or wherever.
