Not a word bout the Baltimore mass shooting

Okay. So what is your solution? Ban AR-15s when the most commonly used firearm is a handgun?

There probably isn't a solution. The AR-15 should be banned again since it can be and is the weapon of choice for sickos who dress up in combat gear before mowing down little kids. Handguns are here forever whatever the consequences.

It's been pointed out in this thread, worthless one, and is well known anyway, that mainly black urban culture is the root of it, not the policies of Democratic administrations.

I wouldn't dream of arguing with the fact that the Demmycrat leaders in urban communities are black......but don't pretend what they have done isn't the policy of Demmycrat stupidity....

Again, punishing the innocent is a bad idea. Better to punish the guilty and identity and treat the mentally ill.

About 60% of firearm murders in the US were from handguns. According to the link below, over 32% were firearms not specified by type, but by taking 60% of that, the total percentage of handgun murders goes up to about 80%....so let's ban ARs because it feels so good to do something. LOL

Better, IMO, to identify and treat or otherwise restrict the mentally ill and criminals instead of punishing innocent Americans.

Banning is anti-freedom. It's wrong to harm innocent people. Better to actually fix the problems. Mainly gangs and mental illness.

Funny how Japan, UK, Canada and Australia do just fine with their freedom without the gun violence.

Go figure, huh?

Notice they are all monarchies. We, the People, tossed out monarchism in the 18th Century.

Do you think the US should return to monarchism, Domer? Single leader rule with a parliament?

That wasn’t the question, doc.

The question was about their freedom.

And no, pal, they are ruled by their own type of legislatures, not a monarch.

Swing and a miss for you.

It's impossible now to respond to them all. Just wait a day and viola! we have another one in Philadelphia.

You are free to believe their governments are identical to the United States and that their monarchs have zero influence upon their politics and, therefore, freedoms. I disagree.

Additionally, and more importantly, while you are free to pine about how great those countries are, the fact remains we're dealing with hundreds of years of differing cultures; one that kicked out monarchism and the others that embrace it. Odd that you support monarchism since it is inherently racially supremacist. Monarchists believe some people are naturally superior to commoners by virtue of bloodlines.

Typical barrel stroker response. Rinse and repeat.

The answer is banning those particular weapons 20 years ago. Want to decrease gun deaths down the road? Start now.

A complete answer would be to have similar gun restrictions as Japan, Canada, UK, Australia. You know, those thriving western cultures with much lower gun deaths.

At least this poster is honest. I wonder, how many on the left side of the political spectrum feel this way AND are honest enough to admit it.

The Democratic ideology to stop "gun violence" reminds me of the common maxim about the definition of insanity. They've been repeating the same mantra of gun bans, specifically, banning "military-style" semi-automatic rifles for 30 years with exactly the same results: Nada. Zero. Zip. Seems crazy to me.

BTW, I don't trust liars and the Democrats are liars by rolling suicides, usually accomplished with a single shot from a pistol, into their "gun violence" numbers to puff up the numbers by up to 300%. Note that murders caught up during the COVID pandemic. Coincidence? :)

Banning all guns won't stop suicides since suicide is a mental health issue. Most murders are domestic, also often mental health, or gang-relates, a cultural issue. What the link and graph below doesn't mention are the approx. 25,000 annual suicides that didn't use a gun. Democrats don't care about those. LOL

"Treating the mentally ill" as a societal cure for gun violence is pure pie in sky. The only answer, if there is one, is the guns themselves and unless gun violence begins to cool off it's a matter of time before the politics turns.

Really inconvenient for the black people killed you are less concerned about. Probably zero concerned.
Oh, I am. I think serious change needs to happen in the black community in the US. Sadly Democrats want the opposite
One of the people most featured on the news past couple of days is the black mayor vowing to get the killers.

When it's his and his fellow democrat policies that have deteriorated the black community to this point.
