So no Nutjob TeaBagger tried to spit on any Democrat Senators, or threatened any congressmen...

At least, that's what they tried to get you to believe...


SEATTLE — A Washington state man has been charged with threatening to kill Democratic Sen. Patty Murray over her support for health care reform, leaving voicemail messages at her office saying she had a target on her back and "it only takes one piece of lead."

Federal agents arrested Charles Alan Wilson without incident in Yakima, Wash., on Tuesday.

yeah, i'd found the article already, but thanks.

first, there's no mention of him being a TEA activist in the article, but since its puffpost, i'm sure it's alleged and believed.

second, it's a good thing he was arrested. we don't need bumbling fools like him who aren't smart enough to realize you are going to get caught making a phone call, no matter what phone you dial from....unless you have one of those little phone company gadgets that don't have a number.

third, I read a handful of the commentors at the bottom of the article. i'm totally amazed at how many lefties have suddenly become enamored of the alien and sedition laws. totally amazed. how wonderfully hypocritical of you.

Conservatives really need to avoid chumming in on use of the "teabagger" line. Best leave that up to the lib-tards for the sexual deviants they are.

btw...I pride myself on being an Eastwood fan, but for the life of me I just don't recognize the movie you watched and captured his face for your avatar this time...what movie is your avatar from? He looks like he's in his 40's-50's but I just can't figure it out...

So, if we find one with somebody threatening Bush from a Democrat does that mean all Democrats are loons who want to kill people or does it mean you find a fringe nutjob and try to blame an entire group for him?

I'm not blaming anyone for anything. I'm countering the assertion that this has nothing to do with the Tea Baggers. Clearly, it does. He was one of them.

I think it is rubbish. Some dude is unhinged, he'll go to jail where he belongs.

BTW - I never said nobody threatened these people, I have said that the threats were not more than expected when large legislation passes. The people who protect Congress stated so. I believe them.

Do you believe that not one threat towards an R congressperson happened? Not one D became unhinged enough to threaten them for not supporting the legislation?

They are not typical Tea Party activists: A woman who voted for President Obama and believes he's a "phenomenal speaker." Another who said she was a "knee-jerk, bleeding heart liberal."

These two women are not alone.

Some Americans who say they have been sympathetic to Democratic causes in the past -- some even voted for Democratic candidates -- are angry with President Obama and his party. They say they are now supporting the Tea Party -- a movement that champions less government, lower taxes and the defeat of Democrats even though it's not formally aligned with the Republican Party.

To be sure, the number of Democrats in the Tea Party movement is small. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll shows that while 96 percent of Tea Party activists identify themselves as either Republican or Independent, only 4 percent say they are Democrats.
 
According to Nigel, since they are Democrats in the TEA Party Movement, that means that all Democrats are subsequently (and somehow) infected with the same thing. Nigel, they are "one of you"...
