Kmart is out of business. Most everyone here is an older person, 60 and up. We're old enough to remember when we first started trade with China, how inexpensive things became -- even with tariffs. KMart and Walmart took advantage of that, filled their stores with Chinese wares, and put numerous American dept. stores out of business. Sears, Montgomery Ward, GEM, Woolworth's were just some of them. The small mom-and-pop stores did even worse.
Walmart is mostly domestic products.
Sears is out of business.
What 'small mom-and-pop stores?????
You were paid minimum wage, eh? Whiner.I doubt if very many Americans want to go back to those pre-China days when a color TV was half a year's salary,
So? I only buy one pair a year.kids only got two pairs of shoes/year,
No one fixed them.you took you broken blender in to get fixed rather than buying a new, upgraded one for half what you paid for the old one.
Plants are being built all over. So are other homes and businesses. The economy is finally coming out of the depression somewhat.Trump's gonna get some small concession ("Okay, we'll build a electronics plant in Alabama") and drop the whole thing and say he won.
