No Pity for Robert Gibbs and His 'Modest' Salary

I'm assuming you are saying that with sarcasm?

Is that a question or a statement? It looks like a statement but then there is a question mark (?) at the tail end of it so it's kind of unclear. And that puts me in a quandary. Do I respond as though a question has been posed to me or do I simply accept the statement and ignore the question mark?

Please advise.

Didn't Tony Snow say basically the same thing when he resigned? It was a stupid thing to say then and it's a stupid thing to say now.

I don't recall exactly, but it wouldn't surprise me. Too many in DC think in such a manner. I think they see what the private sector in DC makes and in comparison to that, it is a 'modest' salary. They are so far removed from the reality that most Americans face, I don't think it registers why this is stupid to say.

I think this is also why there is nothing really being done about the fact that unemployment is at 9.4% and will remain there for the foreseeable future. They don't see it among their peers.

WOW! Exactly, I hadn't even looked at it that way, but isn't it true, when it doesn't affect you or your friends then it seems non-existent!

What is it or what do you do? Can I still drink? Can I still make fun of Superfreak for supporting losers and being a hater?

Absolutely all of the above, that is why it is so much fun! Go to the Werewolf thread and check it out! It is just a guessing game, kind of like clue, but you use the art of deception if you are a wolf and as a villager you to try to convince people you aren't a wolf! Drinking makes it more fun!

Does USC produce shitty QB's?

Don't know, but they've produced an absolutely fantastic strong safety!

A very good point. They live in a city that has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country (for major cities that is). Within the political realm it is even more drastic.
