And this comes a day or so after Trump had proclaimed that there were no more republicans that were not Maga. That Maga was now 100% of what was left in the Republican party. Trying to make the point that trying to discount the voting pool, for the group of Nikki voters and for people who might otherwise vote against Trump amongst those still under the Republi'can' umbrella was not a thing that could be done.

Trump may have near 100% control but the only votes he has full control over are the hard core Magat base. The same base that came NO WHERE near the numbers to win the last election without votes fro INdependents and the republi'cans' who were not Trump supporters but that he needs them to hold their nose and vote for him anyway.

Trump is trending very Keri Lake, and worse, with regards to her telling John McCain voters to not vote for her in her Governors race and they she lost a very close election. Except Trump is insulting a much bigger group.

That is not what Trump was proclaiming up until his loss.

Trump was trying to make a strong case that ALL republi'cans' left now are Maga and thus when you look at the numbers you should calculate they are ALL voting Trump.

He was arguing that what he calls the RINO's are now ALL GONE and only MAGA remains.

While that is true in terms of control, that is NOT true in terms of VOTES. And that distinction matters... a lot.

State by State there is still a significant number of people you would count under the 'Republican' voter rolls but who are 'Never Trumpers', ...meaning Trumps support is not as high as he is make it look.
