Nike, Nike, Nike!

Look at this thread. BAC proclaimed this Nike ad the end of the Republican Party.

There's probably a reason Kaep didn't vote in the election and he said Hillary would have been in jail if she were a normal person and it's because he knows this is bigger than just vote democrats into office and he's right.

Where's the quote that he said any of this?

As a vile Trump supporter lol, I actually sympathize with Kap if he’s speaking about the *general* dysfunction of our justice system. I can get on board with that—especially, after what’s gone on the past two years or so. Maybe if he would lose the Piggy Socks and Castro shirt he could win me over.

I think we're okay with you not being won over.

That said, I don’t accept the narrative that there’s an epidemic of cops hunting down unarmed black men.

Of course you don't, when you describe what has been going on in those hyperbolic terms.

It’s not an epidemic?

Millions of people aren't lying, or fabricating their experiences.

"Hunting down" is unnecessary hyperbole. There is a strong undercurrent of racism that still exists in law enforcement and in our justice system, and that manifests in a variety of ways, every day - sometimes it's extreme, like brutality, but sometimes it's just getting pulled over because of how you look. It's pervasive, and I think you & I would understand it more & acknowledge it more strongly if we experienced it every day, as many do.

I thought the Left was in charge of science lol.

Let’s see the stats.

Let’s see the stats.

I'm not sure what you mean by "stats." Do you think there is some database of every time a young black man has had to endure a "stop & frisk" simply because he's black? Or every time there has been a wrongful arrest?

I'm not interested in doing homework for someone so detached that they truly think scores of minorities are fabricating their experiences w/ the law. Your POV makes no sense to me. How you are unable to see the racism that is still so prevalent in our justice system is well beyond my comprehension, and I'm not interested in teaching you about something so obvious.

I would only say that it's something you would no doubt have concern about if you experienced it as many do. But you do not, because you are not a minority. And that's fine - but you should not so carelessly dismiss their concerns.

What do I mean by stats lol?

How am I supposed to discern whether the narrative comports with reality without the tools of science?

You do it w/ immigration...right?

Because stats tell us that immigrants are far less dangerous to us than regular citizens...but for some reason, there is a crazy urgency to build a huge wall & all that.

Are you conceding you don’t have any stats?

What if the narrative doesn’t reflect reality? Think of the damage it does to cops and minority relations. And it’s needless.

Ok, numbers finally lol.

Fourteen, but you claim they are only high profile cases. Ok, let’s double it and call it 28.

How many black males died while texting and driving at the same time? How many were killed by drunk drivers? How many were struck by lightening? How many were murdered by non-cops? [a whole bunch more] Obviously, even one unjustified killing by a cop is one too many but when you’re talking about a population in the 10’s of millions 28 is just not statistically significant.

Also, in at least one instance the victim was pulling his gun when instructed not to by the cop. Should the cop have used deadly force? Hell no, but if people of all shades would just obey the cop the numbers of needless shootings and police brutality would drop, significantly.

how about the criminal illegals that are deported and just walk back in?
Or a bunch of poor Honduras farmers who come here for economic reasons but have no skills ?

I find it amazing anyone would defend not controlling the borders

What is wrong with me? Part of Kaep's protesting is based on economic injustice. My position is ownership is a big way to get more economic equality. I pointed to friends who say black folks should only buy from black owned businesses (not saying I agree with that but just stating it's an argument that has been made) and pointed out an opportunity exists in the shoe space.

And in saying that I somehow don't understand black people or the black community or you start yelling about democrats and republicans. What do they have to do with what I wrote?

That's not your argument. You're lying again.

You didn't even know the state of black business ownership. I had to school you on it.

POST WHERE I SAID THE STUPID SHIT YOU CLAIM.

... and you wonder why you're seen as just another lying republican.
