He will probably get some money even though his family has plenty -- and waste it all on booze and drugs -- in an out of court settlement. He could sue YT too! And CNN! Hell sue them all!
 
Defamation can be either slander (spoken) or libel (printed or images). The plaintiff will also have to proof damages.

The majority of civil cases are settled prior to trial. I expect the same for this case.

Does the plaintiff have a case? You bet.
There is evidence the plaintiff was defamed (accusation that were not true) and the proximate cause of that defamation were death threats and who knows what else the family had to go through in this world full of fruit cakes.

The companies insurance company will settle the suit. Hopefully it’s a large settlement. Send a message.

Nope. Nick Sandmann would have to be a member of JPP for this to be a violation of 12b. If the post was extremely graphic, it would violate 12a, but, that's not the case here.

The funny thing is that it makes a trollish defamatory comment about him, and the fake news media are basically getting sued for doing the exact same thing. Their coverage of him wasn't really much sanitized compared to this troll.

Or, take Black Lives Matter, starting with their overtly racist name, banning whites from the meetings, blocking traffic and disrupting shopping malls, while screaming that they're being offended.
