The President didn't fabricate anything you ignorant twit; he expressed an OPINION about the ongoing protests from a bunch of millionaire morons who gulped down the FALSE narrative the media fed them. The media, in typical dishonest fashion, then made it into a Trump issue and ignorant whiny little know-nothing twits like you parrot it here.

Well, for the umpteenth time, it's noted another conservative failed to answer the simple question

And the President's "opinion" was planned and orchestrated, the week before less than six players took a knee, whole thing was on its way out, but the President knew he needed a deflection for his failures, so he created the "issue" knowing it would play with the kool aid drinkers as yourself. Not our fault your so gullible

My elderly, extreme Right Wing, Limpbaugh worshiping father in law is 'boycotting' football because he was instructed to do so. I was watching the Giants/Jets yesterday, and he 'admitted' that he was channel surfing the other night and caught some of the N.E game. He loves him some Brady.

I'd like to know what a 78 year old who still watches football, but doesn't admit it, is going to do to the NFL?

By himself he does nothing. With a large group of people he has the ability to affect the league's/advertisers bottom line. That's what Jamele Hill was speaking about today

I understand the general concept, but making believe you aren't watching, does nothing unless you are a Neilsen participant. If more people stopped buying NFL licensed gear, I think that would be a signal that there is a genuine movement. For every person who furthers trumps idiotic agenda, there are two people who are now tuning in just to see who kneels before the game.

trump drew a line, and he's losing the battle.

that was one weekend but overall ratings have continued to drop. Now after the Jamele Hill suspension and JJ and Stephen Ross's declarations you have even more people calling for a boycott. The NFL is getting it from both sides.

you and others keep conflating Trump's approval ratings with the NFL when they aren't the same thing. He's not helping the NFL when he has people boycotting from both sides.

I think Kap loses here. A boycott started because he was being locked out. Those are now coming back in response to trump's idiocy. Of course, we'll see what happens in December.

They're not. Look at Week four (post trump) ratings. Look at Jamele Hill yesterday and Goodells letter today. People are protesting ESPN and the league.

Funny how they did nothing about this issue, and spent an entire season with public service spots about domestic abuse a couple of seasons ago.

They screwed up. If they launched a campaign, the players could stop kneeling, but the overwhelmingly racist fan base would NOT stand for such a thing.

Colin Kaepernick opted out of the final season of his contract with Frisco in order to become an unrestricted free agent.
He chose to be free or be cut. He overestimated his self-importance and underestimated the importance of being a team player in a team sport.

Just like any job, when getting hired most bosses tell us to leave our personal baggage at home. Employees get noticed and promoted when they're seen following the rules, getting along with other employees and applying extra effort at their assigned duties.
