There's absolutely no need to play the national anthem before sporting events.

It's very "banana republic" in nature.

They should play the intro to "Can't Turn You Loose" instead, just like at a Blues Brothers concert.

That gets you ready for football.

I've got big trepidations this season, but just the same, Go Pats!

Of course they do. But exacting change takes a little more work than that. This country is ripe for change right now, in large part due to trump's Nazi followers. This is the moment in history that can be pointed to, or forgotten if nobody cares enough to vote.

'16 could have brought us a very different S.C, and economic changes, but nobody (who would gain the most) bothered to vote.
 
What it boils down to is a few players aren't making a difference when it comes to their "cause"... that got thrown out the window a long time ago...
Now it's just politics and a bit of a distraction....
