This thread is enough evidence that pretty much nobody speaks of the NFL anymore without talking about the protests, "three hours" aren't the problem.

I can't dispute how you feel about it, since it's your own opinions and feelings. I love the NFL, and it hasn't seeped into my thoughts about the actual game one iota. These are side conversations to me.

And, I think it's important to note once again - this entire thing had completely died before Trump brought it up last year. No one was talking about it anymore. He is solely responsible for it becoming a huge issue again.

I didn't watch last year. It is likely I'll continue that. When the games were over the side conversations used to be the incredible plays, now it's this. And no, people were talking about this during the season last year.

Personally I'd prefer if the NFL decided to stop taking money to play the whole schmeal at the beginning.

It was a dead issue. No one was talking about it before Trump made it a big deal again.

I will try and see if it affects me. Too much talk about stuff that isn't football will turn me back to binge watching Game of Thrones over footsball... It isn't that I care that they kneel, it is only that I care that it infects other aspects. If I wanted my life to be all politics all the time I'd not be watching football to begin with, but would be able to now...

No - I'm suggesting that they intelligently are choosing not to be used as a prop by Trump.

He'll help them like he helped Puerto Rico - basically stating mission accomplished and that he has done more than anyone in history on their behalf w/ a meeting, while the problem rages on.

I bet snowflake libs will tune in just to support the SJWers on the field. Only they won't understand the sport and probably tune out after the anthem.

It was only a handful of Players last year and was basically at it's end ... until that Racist Bigot Lying Sack of Shit in the White House found a way to get his Base more involved.
