NFL Players Kneel, Raise Fists During National Anthem in Preseason Games

I have to watch their anti-american BS when I am trying to watch a sporting event. Meaning I won't tune in and the NFL will continue to lose huge amounts of money due to low viewers.

I bet snowflake libs will tune in just to support the SJWers on the field. Only they won't understand the sport and probably tune out after the anthem.

You don't have to, you choose to, just so you can bitch about them. You can change the channel for the 30 seconds of the anthem (which IMO shouldn't be played at sporting events anyway.)

There's absolutely no need to play the national anthem before sporting events.

It's very "banana republic" in nature.

They should play the intro to "Can't Turn You Loose" instead, just like at a Blues Brothers concert.

That gets you ready for football.

I've got big trepidations this season, but just the same, Go Pats!

^ Amen. Go Steelers! :D

Injustice in the justice system isn’t on their list of grievances?

Trump offered to pardon some people—if the kneelers would bring some names. If I’m so and so’s second cousin in prison, I’m hoping my famous NFL cousin goes and talks to Trump.

But nada. Sucks to be me. Why should Trump take them seriously?

Why should they take trump seriously when he's a congenital liar?

You realize of course that the elevated incarceration rate has its roots in aggressive sentencing and policing...right? People of color are pulled over and "policed" at far higher rates than others...and when sentenced receive far harsher sentences.

Oh you don't care?

I see

Are you trying to assert that the frequency of crimes, are equal in percentages and numbers?

That’s what I’ve never understood about the kneelers.

I assume they all have Twitter accounts with followers in the tens of thousands, at minimum. Use it. Get on it and type to your hearts content about social injustice. Why do something that so many people regard as inflammatory?

Also, the raised-fist has a history—represents Black Power. Enough of the racial supremacy crap. Blacks who advocate race based supremacy are no better than whites who do it.

Ironically, they couldn’t enjoy more equality.

Ummm...you act as if no one has read your incessant racists posts.

The fact is that people of color are charged in cases where others are not and that when charged, receive harsher sentences FOR THE SAME OFFENSES

And your OVERWHELMING evidence of this, is...………………………..??

Racist backwoods redneck CFM thinks Slavery is the only injustice that African Americans have endured.
I rest my case.

Climb down from your faux high horse and you might just realize that Blacks haven't been the only ones, who have suffered from injustice(s) in US history; but others don't seem to be stuck in the past and are moving forward, by not acting like victims.

:truestory:

They've talked about it at length. One of the biggest issues is that the black community is treated differently (and not equally) by law enforcement and the justice system.

And this is undeniable. I think one of the most mind-boggling things I read & hear is when those from the white community tell them how they "should" be protesting.

And you're full of shit; because it's not the "HOW", but the "WHERE".

Typical - same kind of comment as "why isn't there a white lives matter group?"

Look at the philosophy and other rhetoric of those groups who espouse white power. Please get a clue.

Maybe because some of us understand that stupid people are going to do stupid stuff and the result, are the consequences that they face.

Deflategate Part 2: NFL Investigating Steelers Use of Deflated Balls in Preseason
http://www.realclearlife.com/sports...-steelers-use-of-deflated-balls-in-preseason/
the attorney who led the NFL’s 14-week investigation into the Patriots deflating footballs and concluded it was “more probable than not” the team violated league rules may have more work to do.

On Thursday night during the third quarter of their preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Pittsburgh Steelers were reportedly using footballs that were so badly deflated they looked like marshmallows.

Spectators, including NFL officials, noticed the ball and the league confiscated it so an investigation could be started.

"Ignoring the fact that marshmallows are plump, ( :rofl2:) the NFL took notice. Officials pulled the ball from play and inserted one of Pittsburgh’s 11 remaining, fully-inflated balls instead. Upon review, the equipment proved defective, absolving the Steelers of any Tom Brady-esque wrongdoing and depriving football fans of months of hand-wringing and ultimately fruitless debates.

Pittsburgh won its preseason opener, 31-14. The Steelers quarterbacks — Landry Jones, Mason Rudolph, and Joshua Dobbs — combined to complete 20 of their 29 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. All with, according to the NFL, properly inflated footballs."
