You let everyone know you're going to push the legislation of the global bankers and their carbon scams. We already know how their bought-and-paid-for scientists have used faulty statistics to create a faulty premise apon which to place the call for action to save the planet. It's really quite simple. They overstated the sensitivity and then built the models with these assumptions. Change the expected forcing from 6 degrees to 3 and the entire scary part does not hold up. Natural variation dwarfs the anthropogenic components

Could do yourself a favor and attempt to understand what climate sensitivity is and how a less sensitive climate means there is no REAL danger of humans causing catastrophic warming. You were duped. How long will you continue to believe without checking the science? You obviously haven't checked the science.
 
Of corse Newt is sorry, for the same reason he did the ad in the first place... in todays enviroment it's politically advantagous for him to say he is sorry he did it. At the time it was politically advantagous for him to do the ad.

AGW is a dumb argument, because it can never be proven. But I do find it a little strange that you're so concerned about the "bought & paid for" scientists & money issues surrounding calls for cleaner technology, but seem to have no issue at all w/ the exponentially larger amount spent by oil & other fossil fuel industries in Washington to keep renewable & better standards down.

There are loads of good reasons to move toward renewables & domestic energy production; I don't even care about AGW anymore.

Do you really think gas and oil industries are wasting their profits to keep renewable & better standards down ?.....Wind and solar energy is ridiculous on its face and no one would waste money to kick a dying horse.....Wind and solar is a wet dream of the left......it might be of use in supplementing oil, coal, gas, and hydro generated electricity, but will never ever replace it as the sole source of generation...\Oil will be a part of our lives for hundreds of years to come......

"renewable & better standards" is a somewhat confusing phase so I'll let it go at that....

Stop being such an idiot, on every thread. I don't "think" they do; it's public record. Fossil fuel lobbies spend millions in DC.

Oil isn't going to last hundreds of years - hate to break it to you, old man. It will start to become scarce around mid-century. And you're wrong about alternatives. They're the future.
 
People on neither side seem to get it. Any weaning off of oil we can do is what we need to do. We don't want to abandon oil/natural gas exploration and retrieval either. Find some balance, some agreement and get things done. Otherwise huge problems exist in a half-century or so. That is what the research/data tells me.

By the way, Jarod doesn't often get a pat on the back from me but his response to the OP in this thread is the best there is. In my opinion, it is spot-on.
