Newsom Christens Trump’s Rose Garden With Brutal New Nickname

Nope I didn't. I compared Newsom's tweets with Trump's posts. It's relevant to the topic and your passive-aggressive induced posts.

Again, posting tweets is not trolling. Or else you'd say the same of your fellow posters.

Gosh it's so easy to pick on you. :D

Yes, the White House still has the Rose Garden, though its appearance changed significantly after the renovation during the Donald Trump administration in 2025, which replaced the grass with a stone patio. The garden, which dates back to First Lady Edith Roosevelt's time in 1903, is a historically significant site for presidential announcements and events.

Altered to resemble Trump's tacky Mar-a-Lardo.

If only they were hilarious, you (and he) might have a chance here...But he needs a new " tweet team"...In an attempt to somehow “be relevant” on social media, he's walked into the Trump trap... and is clearly wasting energy and lots of time that should be dedicated to helping his people and his state...
That's the mark of a terrible troll...

California Governor Gavin Newsom has launched a fresh round of attacks on President Donald Trump in his unrelenting campaign to reality-check the MAGA base.

Honing in on Trump’s grand reopening of the freshly paved-over Rose “Garden” on Friday, Newsom rebranded the concreted area the “Predator Patio.”

I heard there's a small gate with a sign that says "Must be under 15 to enter." lol

Yes, the White House Rose Garden was paved over and converted into a patio space during an August 2025 renovation by the Trump administration, which was inspired by his Mar-a-Lago club. The grassy lawn was replaced with stone tiles laid in a diamond pattern, sourced from Indiana limestone quarries.

Details of the renovation:
  • Timing: The renovation and paving occurred in July and August 2025.

    • Inspiration: The conversion was inspired by President Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
    • Materials: The patio features stone tiles made from Indiana limestone, the same material used for the National Cathedral and the Empire State Building.
    • Changes: The primary change was the replacement of the grassy area with a patio.

Oops. Those pesky, pesky details. lol

:rofl2:

Newsom is doing just fine. He's working for his people.

What trap? Enraging Trump is too easy. It's hilarious.

It's infuriating for you that Newsom is a better man and is making fun of the man child.

Thanks for the bump again.

Poor teacher. :D

Was Rose Garden paved over? Yes or no?
No it wasnt. Putting flagstone down over a crushed rock base is NOT paving. Paving involves blacktop or concrete. A ton of people in my area have flagstone patio's. Some large,...some small,....it is not done by pouring concrete first because there would be no way for water to escape if it seems through the small joints between the stone. And even if it were paved over with concrete its not like concrete is forever,....it too can easily be removed with the right equipment and a few tradesmen.

Pave - cover (a piece of ground) with concrete, asphalt, stones, or bricks; lay paving over

Being picky is a part of passive-aggressiveness. The fact remains that the Rose Garden was paved over.

Newsom's tweet mocking is the topic, not whether or not the Rose Garden was concreted over. And nobody said that roses are not there.

I'm getting the feeling that someone doesn't want to discuss the new name bestowed on the FORMER Rose Garden by Gov. Newsom. I wonder why that is? Someone must be busy getting her costume ready for the WH ball she won't be invited to.

Love the classy compression stockings, don't you?
