His stating it doesn't prove it. If gun control had anything to do with it alone, then you would see similar results in areas with similar gun control laws. But you don't. More than likely it had much more to do with targeted enforcement.

Watermark was 100% correct. Gun control/liberalization does not significantly affect violent crime.
