No, it doesn't in the long term. Neither does treating human beings like vermin and cockroaches. The Alt-Right keeps complaining about the sacredness of zygotes yet treat human beings with less-than-pure-Aryan-skin as cockroaches and vermin to be exterminated.

Costs of prisoners, IIRC, is about $30K/year. Court costs probably double or triple those costs. Multiply by Trump's claim of 30M illegals and the result could be up to $2,700,000,000,000.

Of course, I think Pedo Don is a fucking liar and the number of illegals is half that, but it's still a substantial cost. IMO, immigration reform is both the solution and a necessity. Start locking up Americans who hire, harbor or otherwise entice illegals to come or stay past their visas and jobs for illegals will stop. Certain markets will have to raise prices due to a lack of this indentured servitude workforce, but that's the cost of business. A better work visa program would find the best of both worlds.
