Holy balls....will it hold up in high winds? If it increases 10 to 40mph. Imagine even 30-50 mph winds. I wonder about durability.

They've had a lot of these new designs. I don't have a photo, but there was this German design where they used a sheet of malleable material instead of blades.

I don't care. We need jobs. We have Rare Earth elements here...Northern Canada, and other places we can buy from. China is a fucking rat trap. They demand manufacturing rights, intellectual.property rights, and have a rigged monetary system that fucks us at every turn.

I had shares in Molycorp the only US company in RREs these days. I made some money off them and sold before they headed south. They hit the dizzy heights of $70+ a share before going down to their present level of $7. I am biding my time to see what will happen to cerium and lanthanum prices in the near to mid term.

I suggest building disposable rockets and shoot the fucking things outside of the Earth's gravitational pull and let them float around there. It's called space for a very good reason...there's plenty of it.

So the nuclear waste that you consider to be so dangerous that it can't be buried underground or recycled, can be safely fired into orbit and if that rocket should blow up that said waste won't be a problem being dispersed throughout the atmosphere?

I said outside of our orbit, if you read it right...actually, I said outside of the gravitational pull of the planet....but that's what I meant. No, I wouldn't want them in orbit where it could collide with a satellite or a piece of space junk...I'm talking about shooting it way out....that's why some kind of relatively cheap rocket...note the word relatively.... perhaps it could have a pretty high payload and we could contract out to other countries.
It could be a new industry if it could be done at a reasonable cost.
