Davao City has the highest murder and rape rate in the Philippines. Wow! What a success as a mayor! Your city is the biggest shithole in the country and you made it an even bigger one! I wouldn't be to harsh on Duterte. Have you ever been to a Manila slum or some of the provinces where there is a real problem with an absence of law and order?

True dat. There is a problem in certain areas of the Filipines where law and order is absent and many areas controlled by Herederos and the Shabu (Crystal Meth) problem has reached epidemic proportions. Far worse than the heroin epidemic in the Midwest to the point where drug lords and Herederos have undermined the rule of law and civil institutions. Duterte is more a Wyatt Erpp type than a Fascist and his track record in establishing law and order and civil rule in southern Mindinao is impressive.

Duterte may be rough around the edges and he's definitely a hard ass on rule of law but he's no blow hard wanna be bad guy in a suite like Trump. I can tell you this, the drug lords and Abu Sayaf fear this guy big time. He gets results.
