And you think that Major Hasan thought he could cause American democracy to come to an ends by his solo acts of violence?

I would say that he was angry about the way that America was acting in the Islamic world and acted on that anger in a violent way. I don't see a political GOAL he was trying to achieve any more than the school shooters in Columbine or Sandy Hook were trying to achieve a political goal. They were trying to act out their own personal rage is all.

What's so important about the quote feature? USF, you're the second person I've seen in the past few weeks who announced that failure to utilize the quote feature would result in conversation ended (the other person was Zaps, BTW, to me). What gives? Why are people so bloody anal?
 
He knew he was losing the argument and it seemed like a convenient way to dodge that fact.

And he is on record as admitting that when he gets a little blue and in need of cheering up, he goes and looks at pictures of MY house.

He reminds me of that line from Paul Simon's Graceland, "sad little wrinkled balloon". Poor guy.

Just seems to be the polite thing to do; plus you can't always be certain that your post is going to be the next in line, when responding.
It's highly possible and has occurred, where someone else responds, while the post is being typed.

Plus it pisses MM off, which in itself is worth it. :D

Since this appears to be a random post, I'll comment.

Especially since it comes from someone who has that he doesn't lie and bases his "integrity" on it.

why would I need to go back and prove anything you ever said when you are totally averse to doing likewise for me? You said that. It is right there, plain and simple for anyone to see who cares to take the time to go back and read through your monotonous tripe. YOU like looking at pictures of my living room when ever you need a lift from your boring, pathetic life. Those are your words, not mine.

Never saw it as a matter of politeness, because it's not. Now, if you find you can piss someone off, then I guess it's all worth it...
