New peak rates mean charging electric cars more expensive than petrol

The real problem is I can't combine a corn field with my Chevy Bolt. It's a real downer because I really want to have a commuter car AND a combine all in one.
I can drive across the entire country from NYC to Prudhoe Bay pulling a 15000 lab 5th wheel and do anything your Bolt can do at the same time while carring more passengers. Plus my chances of surviving a wreck in my F250 are much higher than you in your Bolt. EVs make an OK town car at best..

Mine works fine. I've never had a problem going anywhere I want. I went down to my Alma Mater last October (a 280 mile trip). Stopped once to recharge. Took about 30 minutes. Ate lunch while waiting. Same on ride home. When I'm not traveling, I charge in my garage. Super convenient. I've saved a bundle on gas. I've got a great car that has awesome performance and nice features. No radiator fluid. No oil changes. No transmission. No Auto Trans fluid. Brakes are rarely used so saving there on maintenance. I'm never going back to ICE cars. They're obsolete. The world is going electric and there's nothing anybody can do to stop it. Even you.
Does that make you all butt-hurt, TA Garbler?

We need to tell these posters they shouldn't get their info about tech from QAnon or Steve Bannon.

To be fair I probably wouldn't be able to do that with my old gasoline powered car before this.

I honestly don't understand why you think an EV has to do LITERALLY EVERYTHING A HUGE TRUCK CAN DO. Do you mock people who buy a small sedan just because they might struggle to pull a 15,000lb 5th wheeler in Prudhoe bay? NO, of course not. Not all vehicles were made to do the same thing.

Hence my jibe about the the corn field and combine.

Nobody is mocking you because you choose to drive a rollerskate.

Err, my condolances.
Chevy Bolt
2020 =less than 220 mi/charge
2023 = 250 mi/charge

Sorry dude, but I've actually SEEN IT charge up to 300 miles on a charge.

You are mistaking SPECS for the ACTUAL PERFORMANCE.

You should actually know better, but if you don't have a technical job or work in industry you may not know this. Results vary.
