I believe in the Constitution and the Constitution says people have the right to have a gun. And I believe states should not interfere with that right. Apparently the NM AG agrees with me. The right to own a gun can't be infringed on by the Federal government or the State government. There is no flip flopping here lizard man.
When I moved to Southlake we didn't have any geckos or green anoles so I got several geckos from near Waco and some Green Anoles from East Texas. We now have a thriving population of both .

So I have always liked geckos and lizards.
I think the 2nd Amendment falls way short, may even create a Constitutional Crisis, is all too crass, and lacking in it's ALL-RULES-BARRED brief message. I'll tell you why.
I had to make a trip to the Mall to pick something up for someone else as a favor. I don't normally go to malls for anything for myself personally. But, as I walked in, I noticed this young man or teenager behind me carrying a small handgun, I recognized the gun to be one of those concealed 9 MM's, just like mine, with the short barrel, most likely having a double safety like mine as well. I also noticed that he had his finger in the trigger hole, because he was playing with the laser as I saw the little red dot wavering around on the ground.

I also noticed that he had one of those Dick Holsters, because he was wearing swim trunks, and an A-shirt that was intentionally torn off about up to his navel, to show off his gun I suppose, as you could see the holster sticking up out of his pants.
I thought to myself, this is not going to go over very well, and then entered through the Mall doors and went on about my business. But, I noticed the guy never holstered his weapon when he went in, and just kept on carrying the gun with his finger through the trigger hole. SO, I just fell behind this man who was accompanied by a young teenage girl, I assumed was his girlfriend and watched to see what would happen just out of shock and curiosity.
But what was also obvious was watching the reaction of others, in the Department store. People were placing their children behind them and freezing in their tracks in awe, and I noticed some people hurrying to make distance with the man, not knowing what to expect. In other words, he was frightening the public at large.
Well, it wasn't 5 minutes before Mall security showed up, and told the man that he needed to holster his weapon or leave the premises. They advised him they had rules against carrying weapons openly in stores, and he was violating Mall Rules and that they had already called the police and reported the incident to them.
And then I noticed two Mesquite police officers approached the scene and a huge crowd of people were centered around the scene looking on.
OK, to make a long story short, I believe that people are reading more into the 2nd Amendment than what is actually written there.
People seem to be making up their own rules of carry! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE INTENTIONS ARE OF SOMEONE CARRYING A GUN IN THEIR HAND!
NOT ANYMORE THAN ANY REASONABLY THINKING PERSON KNOWS WHAT THE INTENTIONS ARE OF THE 2nd AMENDMENT!
