New Mexico Attorney General tells the Governor that he won't defend her carry ban

Perhaps this libtard bitch of a Governor can consider the AG’s position as an official “lecture on Constitutionality” the POS refused to consider from the Sheriff earlier today.
 
I thought the Republicans were Anti-federalists and argued that the Constitution gave too much power to the federal government, while taking too much power away from state and local governments.

It would show some sign of integrity if you were to be consistent with your Feelings and IDEALS about State vs. Federal law!

She won't suffer at all for it, as it's par for the course for Democrats to do what she did.

Since Democrats had previously gotten away with declaring a "public health emergency" in order to remove the freedom to make one's own healthcare decisions, she was simply testing the waters, seeing what else Democrats could get away with. Turns out that they can't get away with declaring a "public health emergency" to remove the 2nd amendment, at least at the present moment, so they will now pretend to temporarily retreat to a "less radical" position until they can come up with other ways to continue creeping closer to, and eventually achieving, their end goal (in this case) of removing the 2nd amendment. Guns for us but not for you.

As we speak, they are pondering attempting another round of COVID related "public health emergency" declarations, as well as pondering a "climate crisis" related "public health emergency". I think they need more time to keep pounding away at TV programming before attempting the climate related one, but they might settle for trying the COVID related one again since the 2nd amendment related one has clearly failed.

no one has ever said the Constitution gave too much power to the federal government......we HAVE said the federal government has taken powers tat were NOT given it by the Constitution.....
