Other than the usual paranoid wailings about gun laws and health care reform that you can get from teabaggers, neocons, libertarians, oathers, threepers and the like, I fail to see from the article just what basic individual freedoms are being denied in New York. I've lived in the New York suburb of Long Island and commuted to NYC all my life, and I have YET to have my individual freedom be infringed upon or denied.

YOU don't speak for the rest of the country, Libbie old bean. Hell, you can't even tell me EXACTLY what basic individual freedoms as guaranteed under the Constitution and Bill of Rights are being denied in New York. The article sure as hell couldn't...which is no surprise given the source of the study, as I pointed out.
But do continue to blow smoke, Liberty.....it's about all you're good for.
