I think once you identify a problem that you need to take measures to protect our planet. I have never said oil is evil. I think it is foolish on humanities part that once we understood the planet is warming that we don't start looking at ways to help the communities that are being impacted by it.

Even if you could replace fossil fuels as a cost effective means of providing energy how would you replace all of the other by products of fossil fuels that impact our lives.

Let's review how democrat policies go

1) define a problem that doesn't really exist
2) come up with unrealistic goals that can never be achieved
3) drive up costs
4) create shortages
5) blame it on capitalism
6) say that we need to give money to the poor to pay for the increased costs the democrat party created.
