Twitler co-founder Jack Dorsey announced today that he is stepping down, and Twitler’s new CEO Parag Agrawal said that Twitler should “focus less” on free speech during an interview with Technology Review.

“Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment. The kinds of things that we do about this is, focus less on thinking about free speech, but thinking about how the times have changed. One of the changes today that we see is speech is easy on the internet Most people can speak. Where our role is particularly emphasized is who can be heard.”

So it turns out that I have 18 people on my list of shortcuts, because I look at their Twitter feeds at least once a week, many everyday almost without fail. It is my primary way of tracking what is going on, the former journalists the Mind Molders have lost my interest.....Twitter and SubStack is where I go now.

How many will be gone from Twitter in 6 months?
 
I was struck that Tucker does not take in any corporate news, nor does he go online searching for what is going on.....his way of understanding the world is a network of about 250 people whom he trusts, or is working on trust with....they feed him mostly via text, though he does spend a lot of time in conversations with them as well.

My complete disdain for social media seems like a wiser choice with each discussion on the subject.

Where I went wrong is not extending it to include internet fora like JPP, but alas, I didn't.
