I didn't know about the "New Black Panther" party, or how it was different from the older one, until you posted the link. It's not common knowledge.

again, you're having severe difficulty with understanding what i'm saying and as usual, throwing dungheaps of strawmen around.

1. i did not say they had to be outraged at everything. do try and read more carefully.

2. they are outraged over a death committed by zimmerman. yet, they have apparently not problem with calls for zimmerman's death.

3. the reason it is disingenuous is because it is the SAME situation. take careful note of the word "same".

4. you lose credibility by decreeing martin's murder, yet remaining silent over the calls for zimmerman's murder.

No one takes these clowns seriously (like they actually have the cash to pony up)...they're just publicity whores. Spike Lee, however, should have the crap sued out of him for his stunt. Guaranteed if these idiots were given the once over by the FBI...and if any vigilante BS happens to Zimmerman, the usual suspects will be rounded up.....which would be ironic given that the local cops in Florida are having such a hard time arresting Zimmerman with a HELL of a lot more evidence of cause and effect. Just saying.

Spike Lee already apologized to the McClains and settled with them to cover the costs of their hotel stay when they had to flee their home. He also tweeted to his followers his mistake and told them to leave the McClains alone. The McClains said he was sincere in his apology and that they were satisfied with the settlement. While he knee jerk reacted in a dumbass move, he at least had the courage to admit his mistake and make amends. So props to Spike Lee for that.

Yeah, 100 points for Spike Lee making amends for his screw-up.....and MINUS 1,000 points for essentially pulling a vigiliante tactic that could have had deadly results, ESPECIALLY if he got the address right. The whole point of all this hoop-la is for an arrest and PROPER investigation to take place, NOT to get Zimmerman inadvertently killed in retribution or near riot situation occur outside his home.

I'm not a big fan of Spike, but I'll say this....he should stick to making movies.

True, it was a stupid knee jerk reaction on Spike's part to repost that address. Just as dumb as it is for the NBPP to issue a bounty on Zimmerman and have fliers stating 'dead or alive'. At least Spike had the decency to admit to his mistake and try and make it right.

Again, NO ONE takes the NBPP seriously....they are just a bunch of wanna-be attention whores who (IMHO) are doing all the wrong things to get a national platform (like they have a massive membership or actually have the cash to pony up for this "bounty"). Only outfits like Fox Noise and Levine are having kittens about them.
