Netanyahu is no dummy, he's learned quickly watching Putin,

" Netanyahu is no dummy, he's learned quickly watching Putin "
"Choose your enemy well, for he is who you will become."
old Hebrew adage
note:
To call Netanyahu a dummy is an insult
to dummies.

Netanyahu is a maniac, a danger to Israel, and the broader Middle East.

curious as to what Putin has "got" from Trump..so far I see a real possible Russian Reset ( without the mindless plastic button by HRClinton)
and a chance to back down from brinkmanship..maybe even some detente..*horrors! Putin played Trump!*

.. and why Israel, not Iran, not North Korea, is consistently been known as 'the biggest threat to world peace' in a variety of global poling.

You're blind to the implications.

Don't worry, the light will be forced into your brain .. seriously.

what implications?
I'd be happy if we had to split (spheres of influence) the continent in 2 "this is your sphere -this is ours"
instead of creeping NATO expansionism,
and Russian deployments of more and more weapon, and stealth invasions of Crimea/Ukraine.

You recall Victoria Nuland's "cupcakes? WTF was she doing in Independence Square, Kyiv?
You never accepted western meddling before -so why now?

What is Putin supposed to do -ask us nicely to stop shit like the European Reassurance Initiative? ($3.4billion just here)

EUROPEAN REASSURANCE INITIATIVE
Through projects funded in support of the European Reassurance Initiative (ERI), DoD seeks to reassure our NATO allies and bolster
the security and capacity of our partners. The United States, along with its NATO allies, will continue to
take actions that increase the capability, readiness, and responsiveness of NATO forces to address any threat or destabilizing action.
With ERI funding, DoD would also seek to help shore up the defenses of NATO members, as well as other non-NATO partners in the region,
that feel most threatened by Russia’s actions against Ukraine.

Yeah, "detente" while he moves into the Ukraine, aids Iran's movement into other ME nations, and improves his economy with the lifting of sanctions to make further expansive moves and entrench himself as leader of Russia

A better question is what *didn't* Putin get from Obama and Hillary lol.

Foreign policy is obviously new to you .. and/or you're just simply blinded by the cult that operates your brain.

Yeah, "detente" while he moves into the Ukraine, aids Iran's movement into other ME nations, and improves his economy with the lifting of sanctions to make further expansive moves and entrench himself as leader of Russia
he has no need to expand. He's done it all on Obama's watch.
He's federated Donbass away from Kyiv, and he's annexed Crimea -and is finishing up a land bridge to Sevastopol
so he can serve/defend the naval base by land trucks. He's unified Crimea under his power.

Where else is he gonna expand? He's running the show in Syria, he's usurped the Egyptian/US alliance thanks to Obama's
idiotic sanctioning of el-Sisi because he heads a "junta government".
No one in Congress called for sanction, but Obama's doing so drove Egypt right into Putin's arms for weapons.
That is now expanding to agriculture, and nuclear plants, and cement plants..and gawd knows what else.

He has no need to expand.
He's a geopolitical ally with Iran ( when convenient by both parties),and he has major footprints in the mideast
because Obama decided to put stupid sanctions on, and declare "Assad must go"
Obama has managed to undo all the work of the last 40 years of US presidents ( since '72 when Egypt kicked out the Russians)

It's a little late to worry about "expansion" But at least we can stop the Cold War madness/brinkmanship
like the fly by's against our ships, and not spend $billions more into a stalemated Europe.

exactly.
A Russian Reset to nowhere, and being completely outplayed by Putin; is the Clinton/Obama legacy

That's one of the reasons I never bought into the Russian hack conspiracy theory. Putin wasn't exactly having his a** handed to him under Obama/Hillary.

If Putin tried to hack the election it was for personal reasons. I get the sense more than a few world leaders are done with Obama.

it's a good point. I think Putin sees Trump as more able to deal with.
Clinton has done nothing but bark confrontation for confrontations sake.

Putin in many ways wants detente more then we do. He can't spend on an arms race like us.
But winning a Cold war is a hollow victory -the cost of playing the game far exceed any winnings.

Military transport -old plane -experienced pilot. On the way to Syria for Xmas celebrations.
Suppose it was terrorism? We have reasons to work together

Sounds a little fishy to me.

Yeah, a mutual interest in terrorism could be behind the putative Trump/Putin bromance lol.

well it took off from Moscow to Sochi. It re-fueled in a military base in Sochi. So there is the idea it was in a secure area
( making terrorism less likely).
But it also disappeared without warning - (typical of a bombing)..so who knows.

Terrorism is the obvious, there might be other areas?
Whatever we do to push Putin aside means a more robust Sino-Russian relationship- who wants that?
