My cubicle neighbor died of cancer at 59, two weeks after he appeared to have a cold.
Was a major reason I retired at 52 vs 58
 
Damn, that's just sad.
38 is extremely young, maybe he was a drinker, or a smoker or used substances? Maybe he had a family history of cardiac-related problems?
 
Wife's best friend's kid sister, cute as a button and smart as a whip, has a diagnosed brain aneurism, I guess that's the right term. It could blow any time, and she found out about it when she was 25. So she never married, didn't want to leave a husband and kids without a mother. She's 45 now.

A pal of mine was exactly the same age, and in the same circumnstances, and the doctors told him to stop playing tennis, or die. He played tennis and died: I thought it a bit selfish.
