What conservatives "reject"......is making nature something to be Worshiped in making it some kind of paganistic religion. The truth as stated in scripture is clear and unambiguous in relation to man and nature. Nature was placed here to serve mankind, not the inversion. There is quite a difference in being a good shepherd of the things you oversee and making the Created something to be worshiped over the needs of mankind.

In other words you leftist have the mule attempting to push the plow yet again.....there is nothing wrong with being a good steward of the land (nature), but it must not be done in such away that it removes The Creator and replaces the Creator with some pagan product where the EARTH is the thing to be worshiped. It was MAN that was made in the image of God....not nature.

If you want to see a left wing example of what being a good steward consists. Just look to the bread basket of the earth.....instead of growing food that used to feed the needy of the world that could not harvest their own needs......the bread basket of the world (the US farming industry) has been turned into something that does not feed the hungry....but feeds the false pagan god of GREEN ENERGY. Now that's piss poor stewardship...taking something that was intended to feed mankind and turning it into an industry to feed MACHINES in order to promote the paganistic worship of GREEN.

Another example of being a poor steward? Promoting the IDEA that a product (DDT) that almost single handedly rid the earth of the one most prolific killers of mankind....especially the poor in 3rd world nations....the Malaria pandemic.....born by the insects that DDT did control.
