You can post that all you want, it doesn't make the poll question not a leading question. Good pollsters can and do ask leading questions at times. The question about Disney is clearly a leading question since it first starts with a statement meant to give a negative impression. This particular question is even worse than most leading questions since it claims Disney is focused on giving children sexual content. Who would think Disney's focus is that without being asked that question? Disney's focus is to make money for its shareholders.
Do you think this would be a fair poll question? And do you think we should accept the results as indicative of the beliefs of the population at large?
News reports have shown Trump leaked documents to Russia and put the US security at risk, Does this make you more or less likely to support him.
I'm sure you must have a source for that "lost revenue" not explained by Covid.
Anyway, the thread is rubbish. Trafalgar is a dedicated Right wing poll. Its announcement does not disclose where the poll was taken or how it was given. It does not disclose how many persons were contacted, only the number who took the time to respond to the many questions. A pollster would know that people who feel strongly about an issue are more likely to commit themselves to responding than people who don't, and the "anti woke" energy these days is at fever pitch.
Also, wishes for Disney's demise may be in vain. Reports are that its recovery from the dark days of the pandemic have been bullish. Those can be looked up too.

My youngest Grandson still in High School has a beautiful little girlfriend, but he made the following comment to me- "I have realized that this world is not a perfect world, or is a world where everything is always going to be the way I would like for it to be just for me, so I just say to each their own", he also said,, "I am only concerned with my personal life and my choices, and do not concern myself with what others do or how they run their lives, so long as they don't interfere with mine"!
He said, that that is the way his mother raised him to believe!
Which is great, as that is the way I raised her to believe.

There HAD in fact, been news reports of Disney creating content to expose children to sexual ideas.
Therefore, the question which asked respondents "do the news reports of ___________ make you more or less likely to do business with the company engaged in ____________?" was valid because it sought to ascertain if the news reports about it would have the effect in question.
Stated another way, the question is legitimate because it's asking respondents if hearing or reading news reports about Disney engaging in a given act, would cause them to be more or less likely to do business with them.
The question was not framed in such a way as to ask that if Disney was actually doing that particular thing would they be more or less likely etc, etc..., it was framed in such a way as to ask if news reports of it would make them more or less likely etc, etc.

1) I have not started 4 threads on anything. I responded to someone else's thread about The Little Woke Mermaid movie, I started a humorous "joke thread" in Off Topic featuring an SNL Weekend Update clip about the same movie, and I started this thread, for a total of two.
2) None of the points I have made, or tried to make against the backdrop of loud, yammering hissy-fits by the pro-woke drama queens, has been about being anti-gay. It's bout anti-woke. Anti-pandering. Anti-appeasement. Anti-companies allowing themselves to be forced into supporting the agendas of a couple of narrowly defined groups.

The pandemic losses referred to have nothing to with streaming subscribers, which other providers have also suffered; they are the massive losses from collapsed attendance during the pandemic, now about fully recovered. Whether the news reports were true or not is not relevant to whether it was a leading question. By informing the respondent of something they may not know it makes it a leading question. By asking a question that would indicate you support child sexualization if you don't agree is particularly egregious. When the information provided is clearly slanted to create a certain response then it clearly violates the standards for an unbiased poll.
This question would elicit a much different response from poll respondents. It is just as leading as the one Trafalgar used but in the opposite direction.
News Reports say Florida is trying to punish Disney because Disney exercised their first amendment rights under the US Constitution. Does this make you more or less likely to do business with Disney.
The only way to possible ask that question in an unbiased fashion is to ask several questions.
1. Have you heard any news reports about Disney?
Follow up with 2.
2. Which of the following have you heard?
Disney is being attacked for using their first amendment rights.
Disney is trying to force sexual ideas on young children
Disney is not doing any of the above.
3. Then ask a question based on the answers to 1 and 2.
Does the news you have heard make you more likely or less likely to support Disney.
