Nation is divided like time of Civil War.

Ok, change the US Constitution.

Cannot do that...and I doubt we ever will be able to do it.

But because we cannot change it does not mean it is not a HUGE problem.

The less than 600,000 people of Wyoming are represented in the US Senate by two Senators. The 40,000,000 people of California are represented in the US Senate by two Senators.

If you do not deem that to be HUGE...I would be concerned.

I don't debate things that have no consequence.

Sorry, what is it we are arguing about? You want the US Constitution changed? Go for it.

To their credit, the founders made the constitution amendable.
But it is really amendable? You know the processes required.
In a nation as polarized as ours, can you imagine the consensus required to amend the constitution ever occurring again?

We don't need A new constitution. We need two, three, or four for a partitioned America.
History is full of nations being forced to partition, and in Eastern Europe, it's happened fairly recently.
Can you actually imagine a continuing united America ever not being a tinderbox from here forward?
I can't.

Dividing up nations rarely works.

Dividing up nations rarely works.

Other people dividing them up never works. That's the East/West Germany formula.
Doing it yourself can work if you try to do it with good will.

Let's say that we can't partition.
We know what's going to happen.
We're going to invent the 4th world domestically.
The movie dystopias will seem like Shangri La compared to us.
Are you blind to how willing we are to kill one another?

Clearly I do not agree with your assessment nor your solution.

Banning and burning books

Democrats ban more books than Republicans, it's just their selections are different.

Stealing rights from the people

A long time specialty of the Left and by extension, Democrats.

Bringing weapons to town Meetings

Who gives a shit so long as they are doing it legally and not using them? Are you terrified your political ideas are so onerous and vile that you fear people will react violently to them?

Killing people like FBI agents trying to do their jobs

How many nights did a riotous mob of Leftists attack federal officers defending the Portland federal courthouse 2 years ago? How many police stations did they burn to the ground?

That’s the Left.

For the most part, the Democrats was a progressive government...as any reasonable, intelligent person does.

They do not want a government with "absolute power"...that is just a fiction fostered by the morons of the right.

No, reasonable and intelligent people want limited government with limited powers. Progressive governments are generally reviled by the reasonable and intelligent, that's why that sort of person is fleeing California, Illinois, New York, and other blue states...
