So are Jews. So are all peoples. Genetically, there's no Jewish people, or Palestinian people, etc. It's just a cluster of genetic probabilities. But races are social conventions -- the tendency of a people to see themselves as being a group, or the tendency for others to see a group of people as a group. There's a talking point among the worst sort of Zionists to deny the Palestinians are a race, simply because it gives them a way to deny the racism of Israeli policy, but the policy itself destroys that talking point.

The Palestinians are not a real people. They are just Arabs from other places who settled in the Land of Israel over the years, without any cohesive national identity. There never was a Palestinian state and efforts to create one now are unjustified.

What makes it unjustified? Every state in the world is a state that, at one time, had never existed. What justified the creation of each state was the will of the people who wished to be a part of the state. For example, at one point there was no USA. It was just a handful of colonies of another country, peopled by a diverse group of individuals, including immigrants from many nations and their descendants, as well as aboriginal residents. Was the effort to create the USA unjustified on that basis?
