Shit happens in one of the most dangerous places in the world. That ambassador made some poor decisions which contributed to his demise. There was nothing criminal and Clinton lost the election.

Rice would be a good choice, but I agree with you on Harris. I believe her to be the best choice for Biden.

Here is what sticks with me about the Libyan disaster.....so much of what has happened as a result I and a lot of other people were warning about... but we were completely ignored.

The NTC was not a "popular front"
Qaddafi did not use rape as weapon of war..
etc etc.

almost 10 years later Libya is still a basket case thank to killing Qaddafi

As even Obama said, much of what happens with the police is done at the state and local level. And police killings are taking place in liberal cities in Democratic run states. So where is the change coming from?

I saw through the lies, and I warned on the first days that this was a bad idea, and a lot of my reasons turned out to be right.

An invasion of Europe by Africans who have no love for Europe as a result of destroying Lybia I never saw.

Or that so much of its military gear would make it to Syria.

Or what it would do to Egypt.

It was with Libya that Putin first figured out that America could not be trusted....it was the first big moment of us losing Russia to China.

The Bureaucrat Rice had a lot to do with that happening.

She is almost never even asked about this.

This whole movement is about systemic change. You can remove Trump and clearly people strongly desire that but, as the argument goes, the problem is still way bigger than him. Thus the focus to simply have Biden as President and everything will be normal and we can go on with our lives as usual is coming from a position of privilege. I'm on the right and even I know this.

I told you ‘normalcy’ is not the white supremacy stance. MAGA is.

Biden is thecreturn to normalcy where the intelligence agencies are respected, not trashed. Where the Justice Department isn’t your own personal law enforcement. Where our allies trust and respect us. Where science is respected. Where leadership doesn’t embolden the white supremacists.

I never said with Biden that everything will return to ‘normal’, especially in the short term. Trump has normalized the outrageous. Trump has normalized lies. Trump has normalized hate and distrust. Recovery from the damage he has done to this country will take time, regardless of who the next President is.

Systemic and institutional racism, inequality, privilege, entitlement, capitalism, and the status quo are acceptable to the Democrats when they are in power because they will make speeches against those things at election time.
