Well, we know that they didn't find anything, or it would have been some sort of news. So the statement itself is a lie.

But here's the bigger question: did Trump even HAVE investigators in Hawaii?

Probably no way to know for sure, but I'd say no. This is what Trump does. He makes this stuff up.
