My daughter voted for the first time yesterday.

I guess because it was her first time. She said the poll workers all clapped, and the rest of the room joined in.
That's good. How old does one have to be to vote these days? And how did the poll workers know it was the first time she voted.

Was there an election, or is she just a Democrat exercising her right to vote whenever she wants for whatever the party tells her? Just curious...
Local elections, in fact, the election Trump voted in last week, by mail in ballot no less, the legislative district MaraLago resides, a Democrat flipped the red district for the first time in a long time

Why did she not mail in her ballot? Why did she not use an absentee ballot? How exactly did she prove her qualifications to vote? You said you were teaching her to drive on the vacation you just took in your gas guzzler and fretted because all the gas stations were closed, so we know she does not have a driver's license. Surely, on your receptionist's salary, you cannot afford to obtain a copy of her birth certificate, so how did she provide proof of eligibility?
You mean mail in her ballot like Trump did last week?

IF it happened as described by Brad, you mean.
Any story on the internet that ends with "and they all applauded" is bad fiction. I'm sure she voted for the first time and the person who gave her the ballot congratulated her, but I do not think that "and they all clapped" was an actual fact.

I suspect that you're correct.
