Perhaps if these countries actually built functional economies and did not rely upon remittances from the hated gringo in the US, they wouldn't need to send half their mass poor/population across the planet to the US to survive.

I'm going to guess that when I said the incidents were "...quickly hushed up..." it was too subtle. The local papers work in collusion with the authorities in order to make sure there is nothing frightening on their pages. Want to know more? Fine, here's an example from 1990: Look up Susan Negersmith. Her body was found naked next to a dumpster. The official line was that her death was "accidental." The truth? She was raped and murdered.

As I said only last week, my dentist is a Muslim woman, so is my hygienist, the nearest convenience store is run by a Muslim family and two out of the six doctors at the local group medical centre are Muslim. The problem is, as anyoldiron stated, that having too many of an alien culture coming to a country almost overnight is bound to cause big problems. It causes great strains on housing, social services and medical services as well as existing infrastructure. In Germany, Denmark and Sweden they are finding out that many of those men from the Middle East and Africa cannot handle their kind of liberal democracy as their own societies are deeply flawed and primitive with scant respect for human rights. They are now belatedly waking up and realising that they are in grave danger of stoking up huge divisions in future and are now either closing borders or vetting migrants far more thoroughly.

I agree with that except I think culture is relevant. You could plop millions of Frenchmen into Germany and Denmark and noboby outside of the affected parties would be talking about it. But Middle East [Islamic] cultures are another matter.
