The thing about this is that most were probably abiding by the law. Most cc people, like me, are aware where they can “lawfully” carry and try to comply with such. I do not know the particulars of the law as it pertains to the parade and if the overseeing officials indeed permitted carrying, then what I am typing has no bearing on this particular case. I do know that even small venues/towns there are laws either by the state or municipality like the one noted here for NC…

I haven’t looked but I would suspect in a city like KC there would be a similar ordinance.
My point is this: The shooters [very, very likely] broke the law before they carried out the act of shooting.
Yet when you search for articles covering the crime a vast majority of the writers focus on “lax gun laws” in Missouri or the need for gun bans and not on the 3 idiots they have in custody.
You already know this but I’ll add it for others … I am not willing to give up second amendment rights because idiots commit crimes with guns. I am not willing to support politicians who would pass laws that would only prevent people like me from being armed, nor am I voting for any politician who would use my proxy to vote to take away those rights to make the US, eventually, like GB, Australia, etc. as it pertains to guns.
