let the mueller thing continue but we must investigate FBI abuse as well.

You expect hostile foreign powers like China and Russia to act like hostile foreign powers. You do not expect the FBI to act as an agent of the Democrats.

Trump fired Comey assuming it would have the desired outcome he wanted, ending the investigation, because his childish mind works like that. Just fire someone and the whole problem goes away.

Just because that isn't what happened doesn't mean that wasn't his intention...to obstruct.
