pretty soon we will all have to ask permission on what we can say from our Dear Leaders..
I love how now it's "can't we all just get along"...
that certainly wasn't the case during the Bush Presidency, now was it..
So when I called Bush a socialist because of the pill bill and his stance on free health care for those who used the emergency room as their local clinic I was supposedly calling him an "n-word"...
It's just a really inane attempt to stamp racist on anybody who criticizes the policies.
I think using the word "lynching" in a conversation about a black man is a bit foolish. However it isn't "socialism" that is carrying the load in the conversation.
This is just plain stupid.
This is just plain stupid.
I agree that socialism isn't a code for the "N" word any more than neocon is a code word for jew.
But I think that being aware of the effect of key words on the other party is an important part of a working dialogue.
Otherwise we end up with the delightful process we have at the townhall meetings we see now.
It was for some of us. The screamers just get more press.
But suppose you are right. And now the republicans want payback. And next time it will be the democrats who want payback.
Unless you are saying that this screaming and shouting is productive, you are advocating getting nowhere.
Its not about getting along. Its about accomplishing something.

You mean like birther and teabagger?
