Trees cover roughly 9% of the earth and 30% of land. Development has taken some portion logging some as well but thats been replanted. Hey i like trees too but none of this addresses how temp fluxuations occurred in the middle ages when none of this was in play.

The point you retard is that there are a lot of things that are NOT going to go back to the way they were a century ago. Which is why YOU dodged his point with your bullshit about the rain forests getting back to where they were a century ago. I'm at a point where I don't care if global warming is caused by humans or cow farts, I'm doing all I can to try and make processes and people live a more sustainable lifestyle. Self Driving cars will be the next big thing and it will dramatically decrease emissions, and entrepreneurs like Elon Musk are going to continue perfecting the battery used for electric vehicles. Within 5 years, everyone will have seen a self-driving vehicle on the road. Within 20 years, those self-driving vehicles will also be run on electric systems that don't necessarily need to generate power from the grid. It will be coming fast, so stop your bitchin' and start demanding that your law-makers get ready for the technology.

Please elaborate, this doesn't make sense to me one bit. Only way we won't ever need people is if there are no people at all. We are becoming more interconnected than ever and somehow we won't need people? I'm confused about this statement and have no idea where your heading with it.

I saw a TV show on self aware machines, AI. Machines will someday rule the Earth when it is no longer inhabitable for humans. It was interesting to imagine the possibilities.
