1) Let's be clear we're talking about honesty for a politician (which is a low bar) and them willing to admit what they stand for

2) Fortunately I know a number of people that are honest and I respect but it doesn't mean I want them to be President

Jeez dude. Let's be clear, no politician is honest. If I really wanted honesty I wouldn't vote for any politician or I'd write in Mother Theresa.

I respect that Bernie is willing to admit he's a socialist which is basically a death warrant in a national election. That does not mean I want a socialist in office. Not hard to understand.

OK, so I see my disconect now.
I see 535 or so politicians and I only see one of them as honest so I believe he is truly honest. You are really saying he is honesty.

Honestly I think this will be a very close election regardless of the candidates since the country is pretty much split in half. I also think that as the months go on it will get more difficult for Hillary Clinton to recover her reputation especially if she loses these first few primaries. I disagree with your opinion on Cruz though. I really like him and I think he is one of the best candidates that will let the constitution drive his policies and not special interests.

He is a fundamentalist Christian.

What the world needs to discover is that Christians Muslims and Jews are not the problem but Fundamentalists of all stripes are.
A good recent example in the US is Bush II, a horrible president.
