Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Tuesday received the endorsement of MoveOn.org, a grassroots organization that has been at the forefront of liberal causes.

MoveOn says the Vermont senator was supported by 78.6 percent of its membership in an online vote of more than 340,000 members. Hillary Clinton received 14.6 percent and Martin O'Malley received 0.9 percent with the remaining members urging no endorsement.

You can't get any further left than MoveOn....supporting a Socialist rather than Hillary Clinton.....wow....
When even Clinton isn't left enough for these clowns that is really something.
Sanders is a total wackjob compared to Hillary.....

We can smell your fear.

Fear of Sanders? From a partisan perspective I would love to have the socialist win the nomination.

Well NOVA certainly doesn't seem to think it's such a good idea. People can make the term socialist into a dirty word all they want, it doesn't mean if he gets elected America automatically becomes a socialist nation. He'd have to deal with congress in much the same way Obama is right now.

I don't think it's a good idea either. In fact I think it's a terrible idea. My comment was coming from a partisan position of him being easier to beat in a general election.

(I will say on Bernie's behalf I do think he's a man of principle as far as a politician can be one but I think he would be a horrible President)

I look at it as the left is begging for ANYONE but Hillary. And they know it.

While the GOP has many problems, the democrat has even more. The left on this board either don't want to acknowledge it or don't want to talk about it in public

They heard he has three pairs of underwear now and got excited. If we could only all have three pair of underwear, what a utopia it would be!

Isn't the right also begging for anyone that isn't "politics as usual"? I thought that's why Trump is so popular. Bernie comes across as a very genuine person, a true liberal with the history to prove it. Whereas Trump just seems like he's playing the right, along with the media, for fools.

I agree.

I don't want President Hillary, President Sanders or President Trump. But I am only one person.

I agree. Sanders is 100% socialist. I disagree with him but I respect him being honest.

When presented with the two options of Trump or Sanders, regarding their "outsider" status, I'd gladly take Sanders bare minimum socialism over whatever the hell Trump is claiming to be.

To each his own but considering you're a liberal should we be surprised you would choose Sanders?

Looks like they are moving on. And if you don't see the irony of their endorsement then there is really no helping you

Considering they are a Clinton creation, abandoning ship kinda stings.
Or
They know they are an albatross and hope to hobble the comme from the syrup state.
