MOTHER@UCKER

1)all I did was use apples words against him, so maybe asking him for straight answers is what you should do

2) dont confuse me for a typical conservative. I believe there is a womans right to choose, just like my right to try to persuade her to choose life over absolving her responsibility

You have been saying that the government is too large, yet you seem unwilling to understand the consequences of the policies that you advocate.

consequences like people accepting responsibility for their actions? Forcing them to actually think before they do? Oh, the horror!!!

I was thinking more about the fact that children that are born and abandoned need to be looked after by the state. So if you want less abortion then you need to pay for more adoption.

paying more for adoption is a ridiculous claim. There are thousands of couples ready to adopt were it not for the miles of red tape courtesy of the gov. Cut that red tape down a bunch and there would be plenty of money.

My disagreement with you, is your continual desire to try and use absolutes in an attempt to justify your assertions.

Nothing is absolute. There will always be exceptions, however, decisions are made on probabilities, the odds, the likelihood of something occurring and the probabilities, odds and likelihood of someone neglecting/abusing a child is high if/when they are forced to bear a child they do not want.

Every time this bullshit is trotted out, the same questions need to be asked but are never answered. One, why is life considered so precious before birth but not afterwards? Two, why are you not advocating far more resources for the adoption agencies?

Help for poor/single moms. After school programs for kids with working parents. Lunch programs.

The list goes on and on. The truth is they don't give a damn. :(

Heeeeres Johnny.....oops, Apple. :) What straight answers do you want?

Yes, the horror because if someone wasn't responsible enough to use birth control why would we assume they're responsible enough to look after a child? A baby that's fed numerous times a day. Burped and bathed and changed.

And yet you continue to try and make it appear that your likelihood is the predominant one.
The continual pointing out of your failures, is become repetitive.

The likelihood I point out is the predominant one. Again, logic and common sense. People do not look after "things" they don't want or care about; be it a child, a pet, a car, a garden.....

As for this "responsibility" nonsense it's nothing but insane to force someone to look after a child. Such an attitude shows the disgusting lack of care and empathy those who hold such beliefs have for children.

It looks like the whole concept of shotgun weddings is still alive and well.

Care to point out any supporting evidence that your "likelihood" is the predominant one?

Supporting evidence? Ask one of your close adult friends if they'd like, say, a bicycle for Christmas. Assuming they say, "No", buy one for them anyway. Then check back next summer and see how well they've looked after it.

If you have difficulty understanding that people do not look after "things" they don't want or care about I see little point in continuing this discussion.

First you attempt to equate an unborn child with an animal and now you choose a bicycle!!

You're failure is epic.

How do you know that the neighbor won't learn to appreciate the bicycle and take care of it?

I do try to explain it on a child-like level for you.

Ah, yes. Let's experiment with children and regardless of the consequences we'll simply repeat the mantra, "self-reliant", as they grow up neglected, abused, uneducated and living the life of hell.

Does a juvenile probation officer make a living from unwanted kids?

You use a child-like level; because you have no ability to reach beyond it.

You are the one that is using the word experiment, not I.

I was under the impression you supported the idea of bringing children into the world after the women who would be responsible for doing so have stated they do not want a child on the off-chance they will change their mind and become loving, nurturing mothers. Was I incorrect?
