Above: Jane Farrell stole two boots and was sentenced to 10 hard days labor. Age (on discharge): 12.

Mary Catherine Docherty was sentenced to seven days hard labor after being convicted of stealing iron along with her accomplices: Mary Hinnigan, Ellen Woodman and Rosanna Watson. Age (on discharge): 14

At the young age of 11, Ellen was ordered to do 7 days hard labor after being convicted of stealing iron when caught with Mary Catherine Docherty, Rosanna Watson and Mary Hinnigan

Margaret Cosh was convicted of stealing a coat, she had no previous convictions and served two months with hard labor. Age (on discharge): 15.

My son was in a vehicle full of his friends, one of the guys shot a paintball at another kid. My son ever fired the gun, but it is considered discharging a firearm in the city limits, so he had to do community service, I forget how many hours, but he decided to volunteer at the local soup kitchen. He learned quite a bit from that experience, I was lost gad or the trouble.

Seems a little harsh for something stupid a 13 year old girl does.

He ordered she serve 30 days in detention and to perform 276 hours of community service
