Among the top five, Massachusetts scored 81.84 points. The Bay State also ranked No. 1 for educational attainment and quality of education, having the highest percentage of bachelor’s and graduate or professional degree holders.
guess which states are the low IQ states
The red jesuland states
The southern state’s educational attainment rank was 35 and it ranked at No. 21 for quality of education.
Colorado scored 71.24, Vermont scored 70.61 and Connecticut scored 70.47. Mississippi came in last place, scoring 21.01 points.

Those are all great suggestions for class study, but they don't diminish the argument for standardized testing of core curriculum.
If a swath of Tumblefuck Mississippi was graduating children who were 4 grades behind those in Marin County in proper English, Algebra, History and science
wouldn't you want objective proof of it? You can't stick 50 thermometers with 50 different liquids in a roast and tell when it is done.
You can't fix a problem until you identify it. I didn't say get rid of you blessed right to practice voodoo or petition Odin for new head horns
for Christmas. I just said common tests on core subjects is good.
Empiricism isn't propaganda, by the way. Rational humans call it truth.
Can they use algebra to convert an equation from one form to another? Do they know what a theory of science is? Can they manipulate and use the equation F=mA?
Something you left out. Mississippi also has the highest black population of any states.
The problem is Mississippi is easy to identify. It's the large black population. Until you accept facts, problems can't be solved.
And West Virginia, the second worst, has a lower percent blacks than Alaska. It is one of the whitest states, and is second worst.
If you believed that, then West Virginia would be one of the best... And yet it is second worst.

You can actually do a fair amount. True, both F and A in this equation are best described as differentials, you can also use algebra on such equations. If you'll recall, even equations (including differential equations) can appear as variables in algebra.Odd that you would say algebra. You really can't do much with physics problems like F=ma without calculus.
Of course. Both apply. Remember, calculus itself is defined through the use of algebra.I would think you would want people to be able to use calculus.
I'm not. Math in schools is taught as a very dry, uninteresting subject without application of it, or without the history of it. It really is no wonder most students slept through it.I am always shocked by how few people, even people who took calculus, can use it in every day life.
Agreed. It is just one failure in education. They also do not teach philosophy or logic. They teach a very twisted idea of 'science' (without teaching science), and a very distorted version of history as well.It is a real failure in education.
Definitely the exception especially when those that do the worst have the highest black populations.
Liar. You deny mathematics. You deny science. You deny philosophy. You deny logic. You deny history. You are illiterate.
Kentucky is among the worst, and Massachusetts is among the best, with the same number of blacks. Idaho is in the bottom half with no blacks. New York is towards the top, with a huge immigrant population, and a lot of blacks.
I could go on and on, but the point is you have one data point that you are basing everything on. I have 50 data points. Your one data point is sounding like an exception.

Into The Night, the guy who denies that insulation is even possible in physics says someone else is denying science.

Black people live in Idaho. Did you know that?
I don't know what your education level is, but I have a degree in economics. The difference between us is that I'm not nearly as dogmatic as you.
Science is not a degree or a credential. You ARE dogmatic. You are a fundamentalist. You believe in the Church of Global Warming, an inherently fundamentalist religion. You deny science and mathematics. You like to ignore and shift context. Now you just made a false authority fallacy.
