Obama was more competent more careful and more intelligent, as well as psychologically stable. Ergo his need to incessantly lie didn't exist.

Trump HAS to lie. He is fragile, clutsy and ignorant. Morality really doesn't enter into it. Trump has to lie to serve a fragile ego.

Flat out embarrassing, and last week Republicans were telling us we need more civility in America, need a conservative to explain to us how that "makes America great"

Not really amazing to me. They are immoral. It's the only angle they have, besides the true one which is "fuck you, we resent you and we hate everyone who isn't white."

That's the real story. "You have to be carefully taught." They have been since Reagan, ramped up with Fox, Rush, and the sundry haters riling up the rural rabble, teaching them to hate public anything, education anything, evolution, climate science, equality, Federal anything, welfare anything, public anything, wholesome food, clean water, consumer protections for anything, warning labels for anything, sensible gun control laws, and every human on earth without skin a white as the driven snow.

How did these slack jaw yokels learn to love giant ecology wrecking, competition, exploiting corporations?
