Your party shut the government down and held the country hostage multiple times in the last 30 years, why didn't shutdowns bother you until October 2025?

I don't think you realize how many are smarter, better educated than you, and quite well off. :rolleyes2:

Never said that he did. He WAS the one who championed the key provisions within it though, so it was written by others based upon his policies.

Did they really?

EVERY politician gives EVERYTHING a cute, catchy name.

What "poison pill"? What "forc[ed] shutdown confrontation"?

Ahhhhhh, that's right, the Demonkkkrats would NEEEEEEEEEEVER do that... ;) ;) Gotcha.

Meanwhile, NoNads blames Democrat-caused problems on: "the MAGAmoron Congress"... "your fat moron cult leader" ... "the Ratpublicans"... etc.

They sure did. I think we're up to 13 times now? Did I miss any? I probably did.

You're just taking the "AProudLefty" approach to it. "But, but... but they didn't use the precise words 'shut down the government'"

Nope. They're just mad that the Republicans won't allow them to "Robin Hood" our tax dollars to illegal alien invaders.

:blah:

Dumb redneck jackasses gotta be dumb redneck jackasses. 🖕🏼

I was unable to find any source that lists the percentage of news stories / reports that blame Republicans and Trump for the shutdown versus blaming Democrats.

Given that 98%, give or take a little, of MSM reporting on Trump is negative, my guess on this is the overwhelming number of news stories and reports on the shutdown are negative towards Republicans and Trump while either leaving the Democrats unmentioned or painting them in a favorable light.

There are growing calls to open the government...and they're calling the Democrats...
Airlines and unions to just name a few...
TOP knows Trump says she is wrong and who is to blame.

TOP just says 'I speak for magats and not Trump and will tell you all who is to blame".

What Trump is saying is that The House and Senate will always have partisan fights that could threaten to shut down the government BUT THAT DOES NOT MATTER.

What he is saying DOES MATTER and is the ONLY THING that matters, is whether the Potus, at that time, is strong or weak.

If a Potus is strong you simply will not have shut downs. And if you do then only the Potus is to blame as it happened only because he was weak.
