How many people suffered after we allowed ISIS to take over Iraq? How many Syrians fled to Europe and elsewhere after we helped to destabilize it? How many people suffered after Libya was toppled under the last administration?

There are no easy, pat answers for Afghanistan. Trump was dealt the hand in Afghanistan. He deserves a chance to play his hand on it.

Obama didn't do anything militarily in Afghanistan , Iraq, OR Syria. he cut and ran in Iraq, he cut and ran in Afghanistan, and he drew false red lines in Syria, all three of which emboldened the enemy.
You need new heroes, we understand that, but leave this defense of anything Obama alone already, he was "the wasted 8 years" as far as fighting terror went.

IOW, just like all of his other commitments, once it becomes inconvenient for him to keep them, he plans on bailing out.

No leader deserves the benefit of the doubt on using our military. No leader has used our military in a just and reasoned way in many decades. If there is one thing that we as citizens should not trust in our leaders, it is when they commit our forces and put our brave soldiers in harm's way.

The track record is poor. And we have no reason to believe Trump will be better. In fact, we have many reasons to think he will be worse.

I have a niece and several nephews who have been, my niece is going to dental school, hopefully, her husband just back from South Korea just got his white coat, will also be attending dental school. My other nephews are vulnerable. I don't want one going back or the other going.
