Look at the audience. It is "hermetically sealed", as I heard a commentator on another network say yesterday. What viewers don't hear there they don't hear at all, or if it happens that they do, it is automatically dismissed as "fake news" because it clashes with what is being said by FOX. These are people who have given away their minds.

They lost their business model years ago.

They are an advocacy news company now that even the airports have ditched.

MSNBC is worse.

It does seem to affect the opinions of low-ability (R) voters like we see around here. They believe all the bullshit they're fed because it confirms their entrenched bias. Some of them, like pEarl for instance, are so terrified of reality that they thread-ban anyone who might introduce it to one of their Q-tinged discussions.

If the owner of a TV network admitted that he lied to you, and the hosts of his shows admitted that they lied to you, and the pundits on those shows admitted that they too, lied to you, and yet you decide to believe them anyway, congratulations — you are an idiot and an asshole.
 
The trumpys are conned. They will still follow Fox and will still believe what they say. Fox said in court a couple of years ago that they are entertainment and compete with stations like ESPN. The Foxers did not care. It was news to them because they wanted desperately to believe it. They still will.
Murdoch used the station as a lobbyist would to push the views of the wealthy and corporations. That is why Fox viewers vote against their own interests and will continue to do so.
