More Loughner "Right-wing" Ramblings....

...and built on the only high strip of ground in the area. Much later, the city expanded by destroying estuaries and wetlands, building levees and pumping the areas dry...

Let's also not forget, Katrina turned Dauphin Island, AL into a freaking sand bar. Now, of course, it was mostly multi-million dollar condos and the people who lived there were much better off financially than those in NO, but the devastation and property damage was just as bad, if not worse. Same with much of the Mississippi coast, it was completely obliterated. Did we ever hear a damn thing about Dauphin Island, or any of the rest of the Gulf Coast region destroyed by Katrina? Nope.

But what I would like to know is... Why has this thread been turned into a debate on Katrina? The TOPIC is Jared Loughner and his psychotic anti-war rants, shortly before he gunned people down. I want to know, from the pinhead contingent who seeks to silence political rhetoric, if that includes the vehement anti-war rhetoric from the left as well? If Sarah Palin's innocent little cross hairs on a map could have set him over the edge, don't you imagine 8 years of listening to pinheads yammer about how the war in Iraq was unconstitutional and unjust, could have played a role as well? Especially since that seem to be what was on his mind, according to the video.

There's no evidence he even saw Palin's cross hairs. He went bonkers because his representative wasn't liberal enough.

Well, personally, I don't believe politics played any role in the shooting... I think the guy was just mentally unstable and did something insane. It is the LEFT who has tried (unsuccessfully) to pin this on right-wing ideology and "heated rhetoric" without any basis whatsoever. So, if that's the "game" they wish to play with this... we can go down that road with them... let's silence the anti-war rhetoric from the lefties as well! Sarah can take down her cross hairs and stop using the word "reload" and lefties will stop calling Iraq an unjust war and criticizing former president Bush for the invasion. Fair enough? I think so!

There's no evidence from him about anything because he's still not talking.

But he did talk.

start at 0:25. "...in two wars... the war we are in right now is currently illegal..."

Sounds lefty to me. :)

There's no evidence from him about anything because he's still not talking.

Then how could the idiot Sheriff make the arguments he was making the other day, about it being because of heated right-wing rhetoric? I mean, I know Meagyn Kelly nailed his ass to the wall on that, when she asked him for some evidence to support it, and he admitted he didn't have any, but he claimed the investigation was still ongoing, leading me to think maybe Loughner had said something to make him think that... but you say he ain't talking... so....

What we have to go on, is the video record he left behind... I hear him in the video, sounding an awful lot like the anti-Bush anti-Iraq pinheads here! So far, I haven't heard him ranting and railing about our taxes being too high, or how government is too much in debt and spending way too much money.... is that video out there somewhere? Do you have a link?

Mudcan, I don't have a guilty anything, and no 'defense' is needed. This guy was an anti-war lefty, he didn't think the wars were legal, he thought it was unconstitutional. That is a line of thinking only found on the liberal left, and almost never on the right. He was also upset about being kicked out of his school and being 'homeless' ...again, a liberal lefty concern, not something those on the right are whining about anywhere I know of....

LOL Many people thought the invasion of Iraq illegal and the protests around this country and the world said so. Curious I thought he was insane, now he is of the left. You guys are twisted thinkers, but interesting in the way you turn everything around. The atmosphere of the right and the loss of power created the situation that has led to so much violence. Oh by the way you find those WMDs yet? Still looking? You believed that nonsense too. Reality has no place in your sad corner of wingnuttery.

"...This isn’t about angry blog posts or verbal fisticuffs. Since Obama’s ascension, we’ve seen repeated incidents of political violence. Just a short list would include the 2009 killing of three Pittsburgh police officers by a neo-Nazi Obama-hater; last year’s murder-suicide kamikaze attack on an I.R.S. office in Austin, Tex.; and the California police shootout with an assailant plotting to attack an obscure liberal foundation obsessively vilified by Beck."[/b] http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/16/opinion/16rich.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=frank rich&st=Search

The Pittsburgh guy certainly bought into Glenn Beck's anti-Obama rants.

HE CANNOT KNOW UNLESS HE POSTS A LINK THAT HE KNOWS!!!!

Exactly my point... could that rhetoric have been what pushed Loughner over the edge? If the pinheads want to argue that "heated political rhetoric" caused the incident in Tucson, then we have to look at the 8 years of the most heated anti-war leftist rhetoric we've ever seen in America. But the thing is, you don't really believe it was the heated rhetoric, because you are continuing with your heated rhetoric! If you thought, for one second, that heated rhetoric was responsible, why would you continue to foment more heated rhetoric?

I didn't quote the rest of your post, because it is despicable and reprehensible. More smears from the liberal left, more "heated rhetoric" which you claim is responsible for the acts like Loughner perpetrated. You idiots have really painted yourselves into a corner with this, and it's interesting to watch you now try to tapdance out of it.
